Objective:
I wish to obtain a Team Lead/Support position with an Environmental Education Science organization. I am a graduate of Organizational Leadership Supervision at Purdue with plans to obtain a Masters in Environmental Education or Organizational Leadership in the future. It is my desire to bring the skills that I have and will continue to learn to your organization.

Abilities:
Four years ago I maintained a position of Lead Project Manager and Solutions Architect with KS Design. For the last 2 years I have been a naturalist with the last year holding the title of Senior Naturalist with the Indiana Dunes Learning Center located within the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park.

  • My responsibilities as a Senior Naturalist included supervising activities centering on environmental education and the many dilemas that are facing the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (presently one of the most biologically diverse National Parks in the country)
  • As a Senior Naturalist I played a support role for the other Naturalists in the day-to-day activities as well as during their training programs
  • Technical skills practiced included: data collection for research on endangered species (Karner Blue Butterfly), species counting of local Odanata (dragonflies and damselflies in Cowle's and Pinhook Bog ), assisted with research on invasive species (Cattails -Typha angustifolia), and I assisted with curriculum and program development.
  • I have also assisted with strengthening relationships between the Dunes Learning Center and local partners (schools, media groups, other industry partners).
